Kindle Paperwhite Review
For several years now, I have been reading articles and reviews on the Kindle Paperwhite. I have been very resistant to purchasing a Kindle. I have a true affinity for books and have a rather extensive personal library in my own home.
Because I am always reading a book, I often sought out recommendations for that next book to read and add to my library. I have even subscribed to two different book clubs that automatically mail a book to me each month. Even then, I would run out of books and need to run to the bookstore to load up of more books. However, those days of running to the bookstore are over for me.
Last year, my daughter gave me a Kindle for my birthday. To be perfectly honest, I was not immediately overjoyed with the gift. There is a certain security I have always felt by having a book in hand and more waiting for me to read. Because it was a gift from my daughter, I decided to give it a chance and fell in love with it!

The Kindle Paperwhite comes with a usb cable to attach to your computer and charge. However, that is not always convenient for me, especially when I am already in bed and wish to continue reading. Therefore, I needed the wall plug adapter.
I also like being able to cover and “close” my Kindle. The Kindle Paperwhite cover also adds protection and keeps my Kindle shutdown when I am carrying it in my purse.
The Gift of a Kindle Paperwhite
In the past, you would never have found me without a book. Today, you won’t find me without my Kindle.
I have enjoyed my own Kindle Paperwhite so much, that I have since given one as a gift to my husband, my mother and my father. Christmas is coming and if my sister doesn’t have one by then, I bet you can all guess what her gift will be this year for Christmas.
